Mexican phone numbers, extortion calls and companies

Paste a number starting with +52 to see the city, open it in WhatsApp without saving the contact, and check it against Mexico's extortion database. Company names ending in S.A. de C.V. get Mexican business records.

Picked and checked by a licensed private investigator. Updated October 2026.

10 tools, free ones first

Each one opens the tool's own site. Free tools cost nothing; freemium tools show some results free and charge for the rest. Licensed PI items need a licensed investigator.

What to expect

What you can find for free

  • The city or region, from the lada
  • The WhatsApp name, photo and status, if the person's settings allow
  • Whether the number has been reported for extortion
  • Professional licenses (cédulas) by name
  • Official company notices and registered business locations

Where free tools stop

Since 2026 every Mexican mobile line must be linked to a CURP, but the carrier keeps that record and only the authorities can request it. Commerce registry pulls, CURP confirmation and locates in Mexico go through a licensed local partner.

Tips

  • Type +52 first. A Mexican 10-digit number can look like a US one: 55 is a Mexico City lada, while 551 is a New Jersey area code.
  • Open WhatsApp links only to look. Don't send anything to a number you suspect.
  • Report extortion anonymously at 089, or call Consejo Ciudadano's 24-hour line at 55 5533 5533.
